The Center Players

About The Center Players

The Center Players is an award winning, integrated performing arts program that provides theatrical instruction to children grades 3-12. Our qualified staff are veterans of the stage who provide professional instruction in dance, drama and music in a nurturing environment. This curriculum-based after-school program ends each semester with a professional performance in the Maguire Theatre, providing students with an education based foundation as well as practical stage experience.

Join us for an exciting semester of singing, dancing, and musical theatre magic!

This spring, the Center Players are partnering with Music Off Main to offer intensive training in music theory alongside the skills and experience acquired while preparing a fully staged musical production. One day each week, students will study with Music Off Main’s master teachers Kelly Balmaceda and Sandra Krueger. On two other days, we will rehearse our production with Ms. Balmaceda and Ms. Krueger serving as Music Directors for the show. Production Director will be Jo Ellen Aspinwall with choreography by Quinn Wolff. The semester will culminate with The Center Players spring production of Once Upon a Mattress in the Maguire Theatre.
